The UK government's policy to insist that by 2040 all new cars and vans sold in the UK should be "zero emissions capable" [Electric, Hybrid or Hydrogen] at the same time banning the sale of all petrol and diesel by that date, is wholly inadequate according to Energy Analysts with the Committee on Climate Change pointing out that this would lead to older petrol and diesel vehicles still being on the road after 2050.
